QA Bridge is GenofIT’s two-month program connecting junior QA engineers with Georgian startups that need practical testing support. The program brings together two needs: Junior QAs want to apply their knowledge to real products, while startups need useful QA findings and professional feedback. GenofIT acts as the bridge, organising the collaboration and supporting delivery through its QA lead and technical mentor.
Completing a QA course provides a foundation, but working on a real product introduces a different set of challenges: understanding requirements, agreeing priorities, investigating unexpected behaviour, documenting findings, and communicating within a team. At the same time, growing startups may need a clearer view of their product’s quality before deciding what to improve next. QA Bridge connects these needs through professional training and supervised, hands-on experience. Before active testing on each product, participants complete a two-week preparation stage with four training sessions covering the product and testing scope, working tools, responsible AI use, and effective bug reporting and prioritization. With guidance and feedback from GenofIT’s QA leads and technical mentors, participants put that preparation into practice. Junior QA engineers develop their skills on real products, while startups receive reviewed QA findings and practical recommendations within an agreed scope.
The program brings together a cohort of 50 selected participants in a remote, unpaid internship. They prepare for the work, then contribute to startup testing projects under professional supervision. Each project has a GenofIT QA lead and a technical mentor. The QA lead directs the testing work, reviews reports, supports participant development, and approves the final delivery. The technical mentor helps with technical questions and blockers. Startups provide a testable product, a defined scope, access, and an available contact person. GenofIT coordinates the process and remains responsible for the results delivered to the startup.
Junior QA engineers gain real product experience, professional feedback, and opportunities to strengthen their reporting, collaboration, and testing skills. Startups receive a one-time free QA cycle, reviewed bug reports, and a final summary to support product decisions.
The two-month program begins with selection and a 14-day preparation stage that includes four meetings. Participants then work on real products within agreed scopes. Each startup cycle includes 10 days of active testing, followed by report review and handover, taking approximately two weeks in total. Throughout the pilot, GenofIT reviews both participant development and delivery quality. The closing stage includes assessments of interns and QA leads, startup feedback and certification decisions.
