Connecting QA Talents and Startups in One Ecosystem.

The program is for people who have completed the QA Manual Pro course and hold a course certificate. Previous testing work experience is optional. You may have completed only course assignments, practised independently, or already contributed to a real project. What matters is your foundation in Manual Testing, your readiness to learn, and your ability to meet the program’s commitments. There are 50 places. Holding a certificate or submitting an application does not automatically guarantee admission.

You will test real products within an agreed scope, investigate product behaviour, and document clear, reproducible bug reports. The QA lead reviews your work and gives feedback so you can improve the accuracy, clarity, and usefulness of your findings. You will also practise discussing issues, managing assigned work, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with other participants. The group works together on assigned startup projects, progressing through the program under professional supervision.

Selection has four stages: 1. Complete the application. 2. Submit a practical QA task. 3. Attend an interview. 4. Receive the final selection decision. The practical task helps us understand how you approach testing and communicate your findings. The full selection process considers your readiness for the program and its workload.

The internship lasts two months and takes place remotely. It is unpaid. The preparation stage lasts 14 calendar days and includes four meetings covering the working process, testing scope, tools, reporting, and related questions. During active testing, participants commit four hours per day. You will need a working computer, a stable internet connection, and the ability to attend agreed meetings and meet deadlines. The internship agreement sets out the participation conditions before work begins.

GenofIT’s QA lead supervises the team, reviews reports, delegates work, and provides professional feedback. The technical mentor helps with technical questions, tools, environments, and blockers. Both roles support your development while maintaining the quality of the work delivered to startups. You are expected to ask questions, apply feedback, communicate difficulties early, and take responsibility for your assigned work.

The program certificate is based on results rather than attendance alone. Assessment considers attendance, meeting deadlines, engagement, responsibility, report quality, applying feedback, teamwork, and professional conduct. The assessment criteria and expectations will be explained before the work begins.

Portfolio use may be possible, but it is not automatic. Any use of bug reports, screenshots, or other project material requires the startup’s written permission and prior review. Anonymous material also needs approval. Naming the startup or product requires explicit consent. Only approved material may be shared on GitHub, LinkedIn, or another public platform.
