Using SQL when checking data integrity and database validation.SQL for software testers and database validation, taught online in Georgian.
Enrollment: September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
Overview
What the user sees is only half the story. SQL lets a tester check what an application actually saved, changed, or lost in its database.
The course teaches SQL from the basics, always through testing tasks: verifying records, finding inconsistencies, and confirming that a feature did what it promised.
Lectures are in Georgian.
Every query you learn answers a testing question, so the skills apply directly to QA work.
You practice on realistic schemas with the kind of data problems found in production systems.
Database checks make you useful on backend and API projects, not only on the user interface.
Curriculum
The course teaches SQL from the basics, always through testing tasks. By the end, you can check what an application really saved in its database.
Part 01
SELECT, filtering, sorting, and the data types you meet in real databases.
Part 02
Combining tables, grouping, and summarizing data to answer testing questions.
Part 03
Finding duplicates, orphaned rows, missing values, and mismatches between related tables.
Part 04
Verifying features at the database level and writing reusable validation queries.
Hands-on with:
Capstone
The course ends with a capstone where you validate data in a real database: writing queries that check integrity, find inconsistencies, and confirm that application changes saved the right data.
Completing the capstone is required to receive your GenofIT certificate.
Understanding tables, keys, and relations
Checks for completeness and correctness
Finding duplicates, orphans, and mismatches
Confirming what a feature wrote to the database
Issues found, with the queries that prove them
Presenting your work to the group
Outcomes
Queries you wrote to check data integrity, joins, and edge cases, ready to reuse.
You can explore an unfamiliar schema and verify what an application writes to it.
You can discuss data quality, test data management, and backend checks with developers.
